Essential Job Functions:
Monitor special education case manager Student Input System portals, which esquire technological skills.
Duties include:
- Assist the Director with overall District Special Education Services coordination.
- Ensure absolute confidentiality and security of student files, enforcing limitations and structured utilization of such files, by persons whose access is authorized only by the Superintendent and/or Director.
- Maintain open communications and cordial public relations with district personnel, local, State and Federal representatives, employee organizations, the media, students and parents.
- Managing all aspects of Special Education Student Input System (Synergy)
- Monitoring 20 Special Education Indicators
- Monitoring Annual IEP’s
- Maintenance of all Special Education Records
- Receiving and Requesting records from out of district schools/outside agencies
- Upgrade and maintain all files of the Special Education Office, and account for all data and information, which affects such files.
- Perform all other related duties as required by the Director. 1. Demonstrates reliability as evidenced by attendance records and punctuality.3. Begins and completes work within the allotted time.5. Demonstrates skill in the use of equipment including its capabilities, limitations and appropriate/special application,7. Utilizes appropriate body mechanics to aid in the prevention of muscle strain/injury.
